The WRF launched this project, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI): Better Use of Systems and Data to explore the varied applications of AMI systems and maximize their value. This project highlighted innovative uses of AMI technology through practical discussions with utility participants and identified research or innovation needs to further advance this field.
